Guard Your Thoughts

Your mind is a battleground. God’s Word gives you the authority to take every thought captive.

Guard Your Thoughts

Rasol Manouchehri Ardakani - 29 September 2025

…We take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.
— 2 Corinthians 10:5 (NIV)

Your thoughts matter more than you might realise. What you think shapes what you believe, and what you believe shapes how you live. That is why the enemy works so hard to plant lies in our minds. If he can get us to agree with his lies, he can weaken our faith and limit our obedience.

Paul reminds us in 2 Corinthians 10:5 that we have the authority to take every thought captive and make it obedient to Christ. This means we do not have to accept every thought that comes into our minds. We can test it against God’s Word and decide whether to receive it or reject it.

I often think of our minds as gates. We are the gatekeepers. Not every thought deserves access. When a thought enters your mind, ask yourself: “Does this align with God’s truth? Does it reflect His character? Does it lead me closer to Him or further away?” If it does not line up with Scripture, it needs to be dismissed immediately.

For example, a thought might say, “You are worthless.” That is a lie, because God’s Word says you are fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14). Another thought might whisper, “God has abandoned you.” That is a lie, because Jesus promised, “I am with you always” (Matthew 28:20).

The more familiar we are with Scripture, the easier it becomes to recognise these lies and replace them with truth. This is why time in the Word is so vital. It equips us to stand firm in our minds and live in freedom.

Guarding your thoughts is not about living in fear of what might come into your mind. It is about being alert and ready, confident that God has given you everything you need to stand strong.

Today, ask the Holy Spirit to help you recognise thoughts that are not from Him. Replace every lie with the truth of God’s Word. As you do, you will begin to think more like Christ, and that will change the way you live.

Prayer of the Day:
Lord, thank You for giving me the authority to take every thought captive. Help me to recognise lies quickly and replace them with Your truth. Amen.

Be Positive

With the mind of Christ, we can choose hope over negativity, no matter what life brings.

Be Positive

Rasol Manouchehri Ardakani - 28 September 2025

.... But we have the mind of Christ.
— 1 Corinthians 2:16 (NIV)

Our thoughts shape so much of our lives. If we are honest, it is easy to slip into a pattern of negativity without even realising it. We notice what is wrong instead of what is right, what is missing instead of what is present, and what could go wrong instead of what God can make go right.

I can tell you from personal experience that learning to think positively, in line with God’s truth, changes everything. Ever since I began asking God to renew my mind and help me think in a positive pattern, I have seen so many good changes. Now, when negative thinking tries to creep in, it feels completely out of place.

If you have struggled with staying positive, here is a simple starting point: ask the Holy Spirit to make you aware each time you begin to slip into negative thinking. This is part of His work in our lives. Jesus said in John 16:7–8 that the Holy Spirit would convict us of sin and lead us into truth. When that gentle conviction comes, do not brush it aside. Acknowledge it, and ask God to help you turn your thoughts around.

Being positive does not mean ignoring reality or pretending problems do not exist. The Bible tells us in Ephesians 6:13 to do all the crisis demands and then stand firm. Our place of standing firm is “in Christ.” And in Him, we always have reason to be hopeful and confident, because nothing is too hard for Him.

Jesus is our perfect example. He faced rejection, misunderstanding, betrayal, and the cross itself, yet He was never hopeless or negative. He trusted His Father completely and spoke words of faith even in the most difficult moments. The same mind that was in Christ is available to us today through the Holy Spirit.

When we think like God thinks, we begin to respond to situations the way He would. We see possibilities where others see problems. We look for His hand at work instead of assuming the worst. And over time, this way of thinking transforms our emotions, our words, and our actions.

So today, make a decision to think God’s thoughts. Fill your mind with His Word. Speak His promises over your situation. And when negativity tries to take over, stop and ask for His help. The mind of Christ is in you, and with His help, you can live with hope and faith no matter what comes your way.

Prayer of the Day:
Lord, thank You that I have the mind of Christ. Teach me to think Your thoughts, to reject negativity, and to walk in hope and faith every day. Amen.

Finishing Well in Faith

It is not just how you start that matters, but how you finish. God calls us to end our race strong in faith.

Finishing Well in Faith

Rasol Manouchehri Ardakani - 27 September 2025

I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.
— 2 Timothy 4:7 (NIV)

There is something powerful about finishing well. Anyone can start a race, but it takes perseverance, discipline, and faith to cross the finish line with strength. Paul’s words in 2 Timothy 4:7 are a reminder that the Christian life is not a sprint, but a lifelong journey.

Paul endured hardship, persecution, and setbacks, yet he kept the faith. He refused to let the challenges of life pull him away from his mission. He knew that the reward at the end was far greater than any trial along the way.

Finishing well means staying faithful to God’s calling until the very end. It means holding on to truth when the world pressures you to compromise. It means loving others even when it is not easy, and trusting God even when you do not understand His timing.

One of the keys to finishing well is remembering that the strength to do so comes from God. We cannot rely solely on our own endurance. Just as a runner is fuelled by water and nourishment along the way, we are fuelled by the Word of God, prayer, and the fellowship of other believers.

There will be moments when you stumble, when you feel like slowing down, or even stopping. But God’s grace can pick you up, steady your steps, and set your eyes back on the finish line.

When we finally stand before Jesus, nothing will compare to hearing Him say, “Well done, good and faithful servant.” That is the ultimate prize.

Prayer of the Day:
Lord, help me to stay faithful to You until the very end. Strengthen me to finish well, so that my life brings glory to Your name. Amen.

Strength for the Journey

You do not have to walk through life in your own strength. God promises to renew your strength every day.

Strength for the Journey

Rasol Manouchehri Ardakani - 26 September 2025

But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.
— Isaiah 40:31 (NIV)

There are days when the road ahead feels long and the weight we carry seems heavy. We start strong, but over time, our energy fades and our enthusiasm wavers. It is in these moments that we must remember: God never intended for us to finish the journey in our own strength.

Isaiah 40:31 gives us a powerful promise. Those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. This is not about trying harder or pushing through by sheer willpower. It is about leaning into God’s presence, trusting Him, and drawing from His endless supply of strength.

When we hope in the Lord, we place our confidence in His ability, not our own. Just like an eagle catches the wind and soars higher without flapping harder, we can rest in God’s power to lift us above the weight of our struggles.

Sometimes strength comes as a fresh burst of energy, giving us what we need to run forward. Other times it comes as quiet endurance, helping us take one more step when we feel like stopping. Either way, God is faithful to give us exactly what we need at the right time.

I have learned that strength is renewed in His presence. Prayer, worship, and meditating on His Word refresh our hearts and minds. The more we turn to Him, the more we find that His strength truly is perfect in our weakness.

If you are weary today, take a moment to stop and breathe. Invite God to fill you again. Trust Him to give you the strength for the next step. You do not have to see the entire path, just walk in the strength He gives you for today.

Prayer of the Day:
Lord, thank You that You are my source of strength. Renew me today so that I can walk, run, and soar as You lead me forward. Amen.

Keep Your Eyes on the Prize

When life gets tough, focus on where God is leading you, not just on what you are going through right now.

Keep Your Eyes on the Prize

Rasol Manouchehri Ardakani - 25 September 2025

I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.
— Philippians 3:14 (NIV)

When life gets hard, it is easy to focus on the obstacles right in front of us. The pressure, the delays, the disappointments, they can cloud our vision and make us forget where God is leading us. Paul faced more challenges than most of us can imagine, yet he kept moving forward with determination. His secret? He kept his eyes on the prize.

Paul wrote in Philippians 3:14 that he pressed on toward the goal to win the prize for which God had called him heavenward in Christ Jesus. This was not just about finishing a task; it was about living with a clear focus on the eternal reward. Paul’s mindset reminds us that what we are moving toward matters more than what we are going through.

Keeping your eyes on the prize means refusing to be distracted by the temporary. It means remembering that God is working for your good, even in seasons when nothing seems to be moving. It is holding on to the vision He has given you and trusting His timing.

Think of an athlete training for a race. The hours of practice, the early mornings, and the sacrifices all make sense because they know there is a finish line. They endure the struggle because they can see the reward ahead. In the same way, we can endure trials when we remember that God has promised a future full of hope.

This focus does not mean ignoring reality. We still face the challenges, but we face them with a perspective anchored in faith. Instead of asking “Why is this happening?” we can start asking “How will God use this?” That shift in thinking changes how we move forward.

If you are feeling weary, pause today and remind yourself of the bigger picture. God has called you, equipped you, and promised to finish what He started in you. The road may be long, but the prize is worth it.

Prayer of the Day:
Lord, help me to keep my eyes fixed on You and on the prize You have promised. Give me the strength to press on, no matter what I face, trusting that You are leading me toward Your perfect plan. Amen.

Hang Tough and Keep Going

When life gets hard, do not give up in your mind. God’s strength will carry you through to victory if you keep going.

Hang Tough and Keep Going

Rasol Manouchehri Ardakani - 24 September 2025

Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.
— Galatians 6:9 (NIV)

Most battles are won or lost in the mind before anything happens on the outside. Galatians 6:9 reminds us not to lose heart or give up because, in God’s perfect timing, we will see the harvest of the good we have sown, if we do not quit.

“Losing heart” and “fainting” often happen long before we take any action. They happen in our thoughts. We start to believe nothing will change, that it is too hard, or that we cannot make it. This is exactly why the enemy tries to attack our minds first. If he can convince us to give up mentally, it is only a matter of time before we give up physically or spiritually.

Think about Jesus. Right after His baptism and the empowering of the Holy Spirit, He was led into the wilderness to be tested by the devil (Luke 4:1–13). He faced hunger, isolation, and temptation, but He never gave in to defeat in His mind. He did not grumble about how hard it was, complain about the lack of comfort, or speak negatively about what lay ahead. He faced each test with the truth of God’s Word and came out victorious.

I sometimes picture what it would have looked like if Jesus had spent His ministry focusing on how hard the road to the cross would be. It is unthinkable. He chose instead to draw strength from His Father and keep His mission in sight. That is the same strength available to us today through the Holy Spirit.

When you face challenges, you can choose “victory thinking” instead of “give-up thinking.” Victory thinking says, “God is with me. He will help me through this. I will not quit.” Give-up thinking focuses on the problem and magnifies the difficulty. Victory thinking focuses on the God who is greater than the problem.

You may be in a season where the road feels long and your prayers feel unanswered. Hold on. Do not lose heart. Keep doing what is right. Keep speaking life. Keep trusting God’s timing. The harvest will come if you do not give up.

Prayer of the Day:
Lord, help me to keep my mind fixed on victory, not defeat. Give me the strength to hold on, trust You, and keep doing good until I see the harvest You have promised. Amen.

Walking in Confidence in Christ

Confidence in Christ is not arrogance, it is the quiet assurance that God is with you and for you.

Walking in Confidence in Christ

Rasol Manouchehri Ardakani - 23 September 2025

So we say with confidence, “The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid. What can mere mortals do to me?”
— Hebrews 13:6 (NIV)

True confidence does not come from your achievements, personality, or abilities. Those things can change. Real confidence comes from knowing who you are in Christ and trusting that He is with you every step of the way.

Hebrews 13:6 reminds us that we can say with confidence, “The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid.” That kind of confidence is not arrogance; it is faith. It is the steady belief that God is on your side, guiding, protecting, and empowering you.

When you walk in confidence in Christ, you are not pretending to be strong. You are leaning on His strength. You are free to take risks, step into new opportunities, and face challenges because you know you are not alone.

I have seen how a lack of confidence can hold people back from stepping into their calling. Fear whispers, “You are not ready,” or “You will fail.” But when you know your identity in Christ, you can silence those lies with truth. You can remind yourself, “God has called me, equipped me, and will help me.”

Walking in confidence also changes how we interact with others. We are less defensive, more generous, and more willing to encourage others because we are secure in who we are.

Today, choose to walk with your head held high, not because of who you are on your own, but because of who you are in Christ. You are loved, chosen, and empowered by the One who never fails.

Prayer of the Day:
Lord, thank You that my confidence is in You. Help me to live boldly, love freely, and step into all You have called me to do, knowing You are with me. Amen.

Living Free from Comparison

Comparison is a thief of joy. God’s plan for your life is unique, and focusing on it will set you free.

Living Free from Comparison

Rasol Manouchehri Ardakani - 22 September 2025

Each one should test their own actions. Then they can take pride in themselves alone, without comparing themselves to someone else.
— Galatians 6:4 (NIV)

One of the quickest ways to lose joy is to compare yourself to others. Whether it is on social media, at work, or even in church, it is all too easy to measure your life against someone else’s highlights. The result is often discouragement, jealousy, or pride, none of which lead to peace.

Galatians 6:4 reminds us to focus on our own actions rather than comparing ourselves to others. God’s plan for your life is personal. He has given you specific gifts, opportunities, and assignments. Comparing your journey to someone else’s will only distract you from living out what He has called you to do.

Comparison can make us feel “less than” when we think others are doing better, or “more than” when we think we are ahead. Both attitudes are unhealthy. The truth is, the only standard we should measure ourselves against is God’s Word.

When we live free from comparison, we can celebrate others’ successes without feeling threatened. We can cheer them on knowing their journey is different from ours. And we can focus our energy on being faithful with what God has placed in our hands.

Breaking free from comparison starts with gratitude. When you thank God for what He has given you, it shifts your focus from what you lack to what you have. It also helps you trust that His timing and plan for your life are perfect.

So, fix your eyes on your own race. Run it well. And remember, God is not comparing you to anyone else—He is looking for faithfulness in the life He has given you.

Prayer of the Day:
Lord, thank You for the unique plan You have for my life. Help me to run my race without comparing myself to others, and to celebrate what You are doing in their lives as well. Amen.

You Are God’s Masterpiece

You are not an accident. God designed you with care and intention for a unique purpose only you can fulfil.

You Are God’s Masterpiece

Rasol Manouchehri Ardakani - 21 September 2025

For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.
— Ephesians 2:10 (NIV)

If you have ever felt ordinary, overlooked, or unimportant, I want you to hear this clearly: you are God’s masterpiece. You were designed with precision, care, and intention. There is nothing random about you. Your appearance, personality, talents, and even your life story are part of a bigger picture God is painting.

The word “handiwork” in Ephesians 2:10 can also be translated “masterpiece” or “work of art.” That means God sees you as something precious and unique. When He made you, He did not make a copy of someone else. He made you to be you.

Sadly, the world tries to convince us that our worth is based on how we look, what we achieve, or how we compare to others. This is far from the truth. Your worth was settled when Jesus gave His life for you. Nothing can add to it or take it away.

Being God’s masterpiece also means you have a purpose. You were created in Christ Jesus to do good works that He planned long before you were born. Your gifts, passions, and experiences are all part of how God wants to use you to make a difference.

I think of an artist who works patiently on a canvas, adding layer after layer, carefully shaping the image until it matches the vision in their heart. That is what God is doing with your life. You may not see the full picture yet, but He is shaping you into something beautiful.

So stop comparing yourself to others and start embracing the truth: you are a one-of-a-kind masterpiece. Celebrate the way God made you, and step boldly into the good works He has prepared for you.

Prayer of the Day:
Lord, thank You for creating me with intention and purpose. Help me to see myself as Your masterpiece and to live in a way that fulfils the calling You have placed on my life. Amen.

Accepting the Person God Made You to Be

God made you on purpose and for a purpose. Learning to see yourself through His eyes changes how you live and love.

Accepting the Person God Made You to Be

Rasol Manouchehri Ardakani - 20 September 2025

They must turn from evil and do good; they must seek peace and pursue it.
— 1 Peter 3:11 (NIV)

One of the quiet struggles many people face is not with others, but with themselves. Over the years, I have met so many who secretly do not like who they are. They look in the mirror and see only flaws. They compare themselves to others and always come up short. This self-rejection robs them of joy and holds them back from loving others well.

But here is the truth. God never intended for His children to be at war with themselves. It is not His will for you to dislike the person He created you to be. In fact, that kind of thinking plays straight into the enemy’s plan to make you miserable and ineffective.

If we cannot get along with ourselves, we will struggle to get along with others. When you reject yourself, it can feel like everyone else rejects you too. Relationships are one of the greatest blessings in life, but how we relate to others often flows out of how we see ourselves. That is why it is so important to be confident, not in your own strength, but in who you are in Christ.

Your self-image is the inner picture you carry of yourself. If that picture is distorted, not lined up with God’s truth, you will struggle with insecurity, fear, and feelings of inadequacy. But God’s Word says you are loved, accepted, forgiven, and being transformed daily by His grace.

When we accept God’s love for us, it changes everything. We begin to treat ourselves with kindness instead of constant criticism. We start to walk in peace instead of comparison. We can love others from a place of security instead of fear.

Jesus came to bring restoration, and part of that restoration is healing the way you see yourself. You are not a mistake. You are not “less than.” You are a child of God, created intentionally, loved deeply, and equipped for every good work He has planned for you.

So today, choose to see yourself through God’s eyes. Thank Him for how He made you. Believe what His Word says about you. And walk in the confidence that comes from knowing you are His masterpiece.

Prayer of the Day:
Lord, thank You that I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Help me to see myself the way You see me, to accept Your love, and to walk in the confidence of who I am in Christ. Amen.

Praying with Power

God hears every prayer, but when we pray with faith and in agreement with His Word, we can see powerful results.

Praying with Power

Rasol Manouchehri Ardakani - 19 September 2025

The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.
— James 5:16 (NIV)

God hears every prayer we pray, whether whispered or shouted, whether long or short. But James 5:16 reminds us that there is a kind of prayer that is powerful and effective prayer, offered by someone who is walking closely with God and praying in alignment with His will.

Praying with power is not about using the right “spiritual” words. It is about praying with faith, grounded in God’s Word. When we pray according to His promises, we can have confidence that He will move in His way and His timing.

I have seen God answer prayers in ways that left me in awe. Sometimes the answer came quickly; other times it came after months or years of persistence. But in every case, praying with faith kept my hope alive.

One way to pray with power is to pray Scripture. If you are anxious, pray Philippians 4:6–7. If you need strength, pray Isaiah 40:31. If you are praying for someone’s salvation, pray Acts 16:31. God’s Word is alive, and when we pray it back to Him, it builds our faith.

Praying with power also means praying in the name of Jesus, recognising that our authority in prayer comes from Him. It is His victory on the cross that makes it possible for us to approach God boldly.

So today, pray with faith. Pray with boldness. Pray knowing that the same God who parted the Red Sea, healed the sick, and raised the dead is the One who hears you now.

Prayer of the Day:
Lord, thank You that I can come to You in prayer with confidence. Teach me to pray with faith and according to Your Word, trusting You to do what only You can do. Amen.

Listening in Prayer

Prayer is not only talking to God. It is also learning to listen to His voice.

Listening in Prayer

Rasol Manouchehri Ardakani - 18 September 2025

My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me.
— John 10:27 (NIV)

For many of us, prayer can easily become one-sided. We talk, we ask, we pour out our hearts, and then we say “Amen” and move on. But prayer is meant to be a two-way conversation. God not only wants us to speak to Him, He wants us to listen for His voice.

In John 10:27, Jesus says that His sheep know His voice. That means God is speaking to us, but we need to slow down long enough to hear Him.

Listening in prayer does not always mean we will hear an audible voice. Often, God speaks through His Word, bringing a verse to life in a fresh way. Sometimes He speaks through a deep sense of peace, a gentle prompting, or even through the wise counsel of others.

I have found that some of the most powerful moments in prayer have been when I simply sat quietly and asked, “Lord, what do You want to say to me today?” At first, the silence can feel uncomfortable. But as we keep practising, we begin to recognise the ways God speaks to our hearts.

Listening in prayer takes patience and a willingness to surrender our own agenda. It is about creating space for God to guide us, correct us, and encourage us.

Today, as you pray, take a few minutes to be still. Ask God to speak, and then simply listen. He has things He wants to say to you, words of life, truth, and hope.

Prayer of the Day:
Lord, teach me to be still in Your presence and to hear Your voice. Help me to listen with an open heart and obey what You say. Amen.

Praying in All Circumstances

Prayer is for every season—good or bad, joyful or difficult. God invites us to talk to Him in all things.

Praying in All Circumstances

Rasol Manouchehri Ardakani - 17 September 2025

Pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.
— 1 Thessalonians 5:17–18 (NIV)

It is easy to pray when life is going well. When we receive good news or a blessing, gratitude flows naturally. But prayer is not only for the mountaintop moments. God calls us to pray in every circumstance, on the good days and the hard days, when our hearts are full and when they are heavy.

Paul’s instruction to “pray continually” is not about ignoring life’s realities. It is about keeping our connection to God open, no matter what comes our way. In joyful seasons, prayer turns our praise into a sweet offering to God. In difficult seasons, prayer becomes our lifeline, drawing strength and peace from His presence.

I have met people who have been through incredible challenges yet never stopped praying. Their prayers were not always long or eloquent, but they were real. Sometimes it was just, “Lord, help me get through today.” Other times it was, “Thank You for being with me even when I do not understand.”

Praying in all circumstances means bringing every part of our lives to God. It means we pray when we are waiting for answers, and we pray when the answers come. We pray when we are celebrating, and we pray when we are grieving.

When we make prayer a constant practice, it shapes our perspective. We begin to see God’s hand at work even in the ordinary. Our hearts learn to trust Him, knowing that He hears us in every season.

So whatever today holds for you, whether it is a season of joy or a season of challenge, pray. Bring it to God. He cares for you deeply and is always ready to listen.

Prayer of the Day:
Lord, thank You that I can come to You in every season of life. Help me to make prayer my first response, not my last resort. Amen.

The Habit of Prayer

Prayer is not just an appointment with God. It is a way of life, a constant conversation with our loving Father.

The Habit of Prayer

Rasol Manouchehri Ardakani - 16 September 2025

One day Peter and John were going up to the temple at the time of prayer—at three in the afternoon.
— Acts 3:1 (NIV)

Prayer is one of the most life-giving habits we can ever develop. It is how we draw near to God, share our hearts with Him, and listen for His voice. Yet many of us carry a quiet sense of guilt about our prayer life. We compare ourselves to others, think we are not doing enough, and end up feeling like we are falling short.

But here is the truth: your prayer life does not have to look like anyone else’s. God is a creative God, and He has made you unique. He invites you to pray in ways that suit your personality and your season of life.

In Acts 3:1, we read that Peter and John went up to the temple at the set hour of prayer. The early believers had regular times when they met with God. This kind of discipline is a good starting point for any of us. A daily slot in your schedule, whether morning, midday, or evening, can help you keep prayer a priority.

But regular appointments with God are not meant to be the limit of our prayer life. Paul reminds us in 1 Thessalonians 5:17 to “pray continually.” That means carrying an open line with God throughout your day. It is the habit of talking to Him in the car, while you are walking, as you are cooking, or even in the middle of a meeting. Prayer can be as natural as breathing.

I like to think of it this way: “Pray your way through the day.” Do not wait for the perfect moment to pray. If something worries you, talk to God about it right then. If someone crosses your mind, thank God for them and ask Him to bless them. If you feel anxious, whisper, “Lord, help me.”

When prayer becomes a habit, it stops feeling like a religious duty and starts feeling like a lifeline. You begin to experience the presence of God in the everyday moments, not just in the quiet times, but in the hustle and bustle too.

God wants prayer to be woven into the rhythm of your life. It is not just about bringing your needs to Him; it is about enjoying His presence, trusting His guidance, and staying connected to Him all day long.

Prayer of the Day:
Lord, thank You that I can talk to You anytime and anywhere. Help me to build the habit of prayer so that I stay close to You all day long. Amen.

Living with Purpose

Your new life in Christ comes with a calling. God created you to make a difference.

Living with Purpose

Rasol Manouchehri Ardakani - 15 September 2025

For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.
— Ephesians 2:10 (NIV)

God did not just make you new so you could feel better about yourself. He made you new so you could live out His purpose for your life. Ephesians 2:10 says we are His handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works that He has prepared in advance for us.

That means your life is not an accident. Your story, your gifts, your opportunities; they all have a place in God’s plan. Even your struggles can be part of the way He shapes you to help others.

Sometimes people think purpose is only for pastors or missionaries, but every believer has a God-given purpose. It might be raising a family that loves Jesus, serving faithfully in your local church, or encouraging someone who is going through a hard time. Whatever it looks like, your purpose is to bring glory to God in the way you live and love.

Living with purpose starts with availability. You may not have all the answers, but you can say, “Lord, here I am. Use me.” When you do, you will find that God opens doors and opportunities you never expected.

So today, live with your eyes open for what God wants to do through you. You are His handiwork, and the world needs what He has placed in you.

Prayer of the Day:
Lord, thank You for giving my life purpose. Help me to use my gifts, time, and opportunities to glorify You and serve others. Amen.

Walking in Freedom

Rasol Manouchehri Ardakani - 14 September 2025

So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.”
— John 8:36 (NIV)

Freedom is one of the greatest gifts of our new life in Christ. When Jesus died and rose again, He broke the power of sin and set us free from the chains that once held us. John 8:36 tells us that if the Son sets you free, you are free indeed.

But here is the challenge—sometimes we do not live like we are free. Old habits, guilty memories, and negative voices can make us feel trapped again. That is why walking in freedom is a daily choice.

I remember meeting someone who had been set free from a difficult addiction. The change in their life was remarkable, but they told me that the real challenge was learning to walk in that freedom each day. They had to replace old routines with new ones, surround themselves with encouraging voices, and keep going back to God’s Word to remind themselves of the truth.

Walking in freedom means saying no to anything that tries to pull you back into bondage. It means forgiving when the enemy tempts you to hold a grudge. It means trusting God when fear whispers that you are not safe. It means choosing to see yourself as God sees you—redeemed, clean, and whole.

You do not have to fight for freedom, Jesus already won it for you. You simply have to walk in it.

Prayer of the Day:
Lord, thank You for setting me free through Jesus. Help me to live each day in that freedom, refusing to go back to the chains You have broken. Amen.

Renewing Your Mind

Real change begins when we allow God’s Word to transform the way we think.

Renewing Your Mind

Rasol Manouchehri Ardakani - 13 September 2025

Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.
— Romans 12:2 (NIV)

Becoming a new creation in Christ is not just about changing our outward behaviour, it starts deep inside, with the way we think. Paul tells us in Romans 12:2 that we are transformed by the renewing of our minds.

The world has its own patterns—ways of thinking and living that often pull us away from God. If we are not intentional, we can find ourselves conforming to those patterns without even realising it. But God invites us to let His Word reshape our thoughts so that we can live in alignment with His truth.

I have seen in my own life how my thinking affects my reactions, my mood, and my choices. When my thoughts are filled with fear, doubt, or negativity, it shows in my words and actions. But when I meditate on Scripture and let God’s promises fill my mind, I find peace and strength even in difficult situations.

Renewing your mind is not a one-time event, it is a daily discipline. It means making time for God’s Word, letting it challenge old ways of thinking, and replacing lies with truth. It might be as simple as memorising one verse and speaking it over your day, or pausing in the middle of a busy schedule to remind yourself of God’s faithfulness.

The more we fill our minds with God’s truth, the less room there is for the enemy’s lies. And as our thinking changes, so does our living. We begin to make choices that reflect who we are in Christ, not who we used to be.

Today, ask God to help you think His thoughts. Let His Word be the lens through which you see yourself, your circumstances, and the people around you. When your mind is renewed, your life will be transformed.

Prayer of the Day:
Lord, thank You for giving me Your Word. Help me to fill my mind with Your truth every day. Change the way I think so I can live in a way that honours You. Amen.

A New Day

When you are in Christ, the old is gone and the new has come. Each day is a fresh start with God’s promises for your life.

A New Day

Rasol Manouchehri Ardakani - 12 September 2025

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!
— 2 Corinthians 5:17 (NIV)

There is something special about a new day. The sun rises, the air feels fresh, and there is a sense of possibility in the air. Spiritually, God offers us that same kind of new beginning when we put our faith in Jesus. Paul reminds us in 2 Corinthians 5:17 that when we are in Christ, we are a new creation. The old is gone, the new has come.

That means your past no longer defines you. Your mistakes, failures, and hurts do not get to have the final word over your life. You have been given a brand-new identity in Christ. You are loved, forgiven, and accepted.

Of course, that does not mean we never remember the past. But we do not have to let it control us. Old habits, old wounds, and old ways of thinking can lose their grip when we allow God to renew our minds with His Word.

I have found that how I think has a big impact on how I live. If I constantly dwell on what went wrong yesterday, I will miss the good things God wants to do today. That is why it is so important to align our thoughts with God’s truth. You may not know every detail of His plan for your life right now, but you can choose to believe this: He loves you, He is for you, and whatever He does will be good.

There will be days when progress feels slow. You may wonder if you are really changing. That is when Philippians 1:6 is such a comfort. It says that the God who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion. He has not brought you this far to leave you.

So today, take a deep breath and remember that you are not the same person you used to be. Jesus has made you new. The old is gone. A fresh, new life is here. Live in the joy of that truth, and watch how God fills your days with hope and purpose.

Prayer of the Day:
Lord, thank You that in Christ I am a new creation. Help me to leave the past behind and step into each day with faith and expectation. Renew my mind with Your Word and fill me with joy in the life You have given me. Amen.

Living Free Every Day

Freedom in Christ is not a one-time event. It’s a way of life.

Living Free Every Day

Rasol Manouchehri Ardakani - 11 September 2025

So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.
— John 8:36 (NIV)

Freedom is more than a moment at the altar or an emotional high in a worship service. True freedom is a daily walk. Jesus has set us free, and it’s our choice to live in that freedom every day.

Living free means guarding your mind against lies. It means refusing to let past mistakes define your present. It means choosing gratitude when life feels hard, and choosing worship when you feel weary.

I know people who have faced incredible challenges; illness, loss, betrayal, yet they walk with a joy that can only come from Jesus. Their freedom is not based on circumstances but on the unchanging truth of God’s Word.

The enemy will try to pull you back into fear, shame, and discouragement. But freedom is yours to defend. That’s why Paul told the Galatians to “stand firm.” Don’t hand back the key that Jesus used to unlock your chains.

Start each day with gratitude. Speak God’s promises over your life. Worship Him in the middle of the mess. And remember, you are free indeed, not because you feel it, but because He said it.

When we live this way, freedom is not just something we talk about on Sunday. It becomes the way we breathe, walk, and live every day.

Prayer of the Day:
Jesus, thank You for the freedom You have given me. Help me to guard it, enjoy it, and use it to serve You faithfully. Amen.

The Simplicity of Faith

Faith is not complicated. Jesus simply says, “Only believe.”

The Simplicity of Faith

Rasol Manouchehri Ardakani - 10 September 2025

Then Jesus said, ‘Did I not tell you that if you believe, you will see the glory of God?
— John 11:40 (NIV)

Faith is not meant to be complicated. But if we’re honest, we often make it that way. We overthink. We try to figure out every detail before we trust. We analyse God’s promises as if they’re too good to be true.

When Jesus told Martha at Lazarus’ tomb to “only believe,” He was inviting her to simple, childlike trust. She didn’t need to understand the mechanics of a resurrection. She just needed to trust the One who could bring it about.

The enemy hates this kind of faith. He will do anything to clutter it with fear, doubt, and performance. Why? Because there’s power in simple belief. When you strip away all the extras, faith is simply taking God at His Word.

I’ve had moments where I complicated my walk with God. I measured my closeness to Him by how many chapters I read or how many prayers I prayed. While these disciplines are good, they’re not the measure of God’s love for me. His love was settled at the cross. My part is to believe it and walk in it.

When your faith feels heavy, go back to basics. Believe that He is who He says He is. Believe that He will do what He says He will do. Trust Him like a child trusts their father.

And as you do, you’ll find something wonderful – peace returns, joy rises, and the weight lifts. Because Jesus never intended for faith to be complicated. He simply said, “Only believe.”

Prayer of the Day:
Lord, help me to keep my faith simple. Teach me to trust You fully and believe Your Word without overcomplicating it. Amen.
