About Us

We consider reaching people who do not know God personally to be one of our greatest responsibilities. Our Sunday services are for people at all stages in their spiritual journey. 

We are passionate about bringing hope to the hopeless, as we believe hope is to the heart what seeds are to the earth. Without hope life is unfruitful. The word of God tells us in Hebrews 11:1 (NKJV) “Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.” 

We are a Pentecostal church and part of the Assemblies of God. 

The Assemblies of God has been serving the people of Great Britain since 1924. As a movement of churches we believe that Jesus is still working in His church through the power of His Spirit to change people's lives for the better. To this end we seek to build churches that demonstrate God's love to our communities in a practical and relevant way. 

In recognition of the fact that we are only a small part of the Universal Church, the Assemblies of God seek to work with the many different expressions of the Church of Jesus Christ in the UK and across the world.

Our vision is to work together to make Jesus known in all nations. Our focus is to reach those who do not know God personally by helping people find their way back to God. 

Our mission is to be a church that provides a place of refuge and restoration. That is why ANCC is a casual environment where you will feel comfortable showing up just as you are.
