WATER BAPTISM
GOING PUBLIC WITH YOUR FAITH!
At All Nations Community Church, we believe in helping people find their way back to God, and baptism is an especially important part of the journey of a Christ-follower. We offer baptism classes for all ages as well as baptism events throughout the year.
In Jesus’ own words, being a disciple involves baptism. Jesus led by example by being baptised, and then He asked His followers to do the same. Jesus then challenged His followers with this mission:
“19 Therefore, go and make disciples of all nations, baptising them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.””

NOT SURE BAPTISM IS YOUR NEXT STEP?
We understand that you may have some questions, but we don't think those should keep you from looking into baptism and eventually taking that step.
What is baptism?
Jesus was baptised, and since then, his followers have followed His example. Baptism is a way for you to do the same and participate in a common experience with Jesus followers around the world.
Baptism is a way to publicly express your faith and show others that you have begun a personal relationship with Jesus.
Baptism symbolises the new life you began when you started following Jesus. It symbolises your old life dying (going under the water) and your new life (coming out of the water).
Where can I be baptised?
You can be baptised during one of our Sunday services.
What about infant baptism/christening?
Some churches choose to christen or baptise infants. While we recognise the right of other churches to practice infant baptism, we understand Scripture to teach that only people who have made the decision to follow Jesus should be baptised. Baptism does not make you a Christian. It shows that you already are one.
