The power is missional. We are filled not for an experience but so that Jesus is made known through ordinary people.

Your limitations are real, but they are not the limit of God’s power. The measure is resurrection power at work within you.

Receive mercy first, then ask for strength. Many of us cannot receive grace for the task while still carrying guilt about the past.

Power is never for show, status or spiritual competition. The test is whether Jesus is glorified and people are built up.

Roots can be pulled; trees have to be felled. Bring it to Jesus while it is still a root.

Change the question. Not “What can I get away with?” but “What will help me see Jesus more clearly?”

Holiness is not the entrance fee. It is the family resemblance of people who already belong to God.

God is faithful and just to forgive, not merely kind. Your forgiveness rests on His integrity, because the penalty has already been paid.

Do not make peace with what Jesus died to free you from. You are not fighting for victory; you are fighting from it.

Stop introducing yourself by your chains when Jesus has already opened the door. Your past is your history, not your destiny.

Grace does not leave you where it found you. It saves you, teaches you, and empowers you to live differently today.

God’s power does not need your perfection before it can work. It asks for surrender, faith and obedience.

Do not bury what God gave you because it looks small beside somebody else’s gift. He fed a multitude with a boy’s lunch.

The question is not what you are lacking. It is what you are neglecting. A resource you never use will not help you.

Changing your position after genuine persuasion is maturity. Changing it to stop the discomfort is people-pleasing wearing the costume of humility.

You cannot purify a stream downstream while ignoring the source. Everything you do flows from the heart.

The size of the audience does not determine the significance of the assignment. Jesus spent thirty years in a workshop and three in public ministry.

You may be planting something now that a completely different person will harvest in twenty years, and that will be no loss at all.

Instead of only asking “Will this work?”, ask “Will this honour God?” Two different questions produce two different lives.

Do not visit God’s love occasionally. Remain there, and let it become the place from which you live rather than the place you are trying to reach.
