What this means for you
In Luke 7 a woman known for her sin came into a religious man's house. She wept at the feet of Jesus, wiped them with her hair and poured perfume on them. The religious man was shocked. But Jesus said, her many sins have been forgiven, as her great love has shown (Luke 7:47).
The more we understand how much we have been forgiven, the more we love Jesus. The Pharisee thought he did not need much forgiveness, so he loved little. The truth is, we all need the grace of God.
And forgiven people forgive people. Is there someone you are still holding something against? Forgiveness does not mean what they did was fine. It means you hand it over to God and let Him deal with it. It sets you free.
