Miriam Suraki’s Testimony

Bringing the Prodigals Back Home

At All Nations Community Church, we believe testimonies are not just stories; they are reminders of God’s mercy, patience, and transforming power.

In this honest and powerful testimony, Miriam Suraki shares how God brought her out of rebellion, emptiness, and confusion and back into a life of faith and surrender.

Miriam explains that she grew up in a strong Christian home. She knew the Bible stories, attended a Christian school, and had parents who prayed faithfully. But in her teenage years and early adult life, she began to drift. Wanting to fit in, she started making choices that took her further away from God, from church, and from the values she had been raised with.

Over time, that lifestyle left her feeling empty, lonely, and far from who God had called her to be. But even when she was running, her parents never stopped praying. They kept trusting that the seeds planted in her heart as a child would one day take root.

Eventually, Miriam cried out to God, and He met her. The journey of coming back did not happen overnight, but step by step, God began restoring her life. She turned away from old patterns, returned to church, and gave her life fully back to God.

Miriam also shares how God answered her prayer for marriage and family in a beautiful way. After years of feeling she may have missed her opportunity, God opened the door, and she has now been married for 12 years.

Her testimony carries a strong message for young people, parents, and the whole church.

To the youth, it is a reminder not to be afraid of being different for Jesus.

To parents, it is an encouragement to keep praying and never give up on your children.

To the church, it is a call to pray for the prodigals, not to judge them.

Miriam’s story reminds us that no one is too far gone for the grace of God. If God can bring her home, He can bring others home too.
