Angela Joubert's Testimony

Provision and Mustard Seed Faith

At All Nations Community Church, we celebrate how God reaches out to rescue us in our darkest moments.

In this deeply moving testimony, Angela Joubert shares the incredible story of her journey from fear to freedom. Living in Johannesburg, South Africa, Angela was a victim of domestic abuse. She made the brave decision to flee with her two very young children. Relocating to a new flat, she felt completely overwhelmed and viewed herself as a failure. She was burdened with worry about how to secure a job and find a nursery for her toddlers.

One evening, people from a local church were going from flat to flat. Instead of starting at the beginning of the block, they were led straight to Angela's door at number 15. Although she initially felt she had too much on her plate to engage with them, she quickly realised that God had sent them directly to her because she was in such desperate need. That profound moment led her to give her life to Jesus 28 years ago.

Following her salvation, God provided a nursery for her children and a job to sustain her family. When Angela moved to England 23 years ago, her very first home happened to be right across the road from our church.

Throughout the ups and downs of life, Angela has held firmly to faith as small as a mustard seed. She testifies to the miraculous power of persistent prayer. Recently, God answered her deepest prayers by saving her son from suicide, drugs, and alcohol. He is also faithfully working in her daughter's life.

Angela’s testimony carries a powerful message of hope for anyone feeling trapped or overwhelmed.

To those facing impossible circumstances, it is a reminder that God knows exactly where you are and will send help to your door.

To parents praying for their children, it is a tremendous encouragement to never stop believing in God's power to deliver and restore.

Angela's story reminds us that when we place our tiny mustard seed of faith in God, He will always provide.
