In this uplifting testimony, Alston Shaw shares an incredible story of God’s miraculous provision. After making the bold decision to step away from his job earlier this year, Alston found himself facing a daunting £7,000 shortfall for his upcoming destination wedding.
Tempted to rely on his own strength and reach out to wealthy friends for help, he instead asked the church for prayer. Right as he was contemplating taking matters into his own hands, God gently prompted him to check his bank account, leading to a discovery that completely blew him away!
But Alston’s testimony is about much more than just finances. It is a profound challenge to the church about what it truly means to die to our own pride, stand firm in our faith (Isaiah 7:9), and trust that God will supply all our needs according to His glorious riches (Philippians 4:19).
