The Supreme Authority of Jesus
Revelation 19:16 declares the unmatched majesty of Jesus:
“On His robe and on His thigh, He has this name written: King of kings and Lord of lords.”
The title Lord of Lords reminds us of Jesus’s ultimate authority over all creation. He reigns supreme, above every earthly power, spiritual force, or human ambition. His lordship is absolute, eternal, and unshakable.
This truth is both awe-inspiring and comforting. In a world where authority is often misused, Jesus’s lordship stands apart. He rules with perfect justice, truth, and love, ensuring that nothing happens outside His sovereign control.
What Does It Mean That Jesus Is "The Lord of Lords"?
