Overcoming Adversity

Good morning, ANCC Men of Honour! As we start the new day, let's remember that we are constantly in a spiritual battle. The devil, like a roaring lion, seeks to devour us, targeting our self-esteem, identity, and spiritual integrity.
Are you aware that the enemy is particularly intent on undermining men of God? Just as Pharaoh once targeted the male children of the Hebrews, the devil aims his strategies at those destined to rise as leaders under God's anointing.
This hostility was first mentioned in Genesis when God declared there would be an endless conflict between the seed of the woman and the serpent. We are that seed, called to continue the victorious legacy of Christ. Remember, the devil may roam, but his defeat is assured in our lives through Christ.
Are you standing firm in your position with God? This is our protection and our victory. Stay connected to the source of life, to God Himself, and you will find strength and peace each day.
Let us pray:
Heavenly Father, we thank You for Your protection and guidance. Equip us, to stand firm against the adversary. Help us to occupy our divine calling and to remain vigilant and strong in You. May Your Spirit empower us to overcome every challenge and to lead lives that glorify Your name. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
