The True Wisdom of God

1 Corinthians 1:24 (NLT) - "But to those called by God to salvation, both Jews and Gentiles, Christ is the power of God and the wisdom of God."

We look around the world today, and it’s chaos. It feels like a kingdom under attack. The Bible warns us that there is a way that seems right to a man, but its end is destruction (Proverbs 14:12). You might have tried to "secure" your life with your career, your intellect, or your ten-year plans, but the chaos of life still finds a way to seep in. You cannot stabilise yourself.

But I have good news: God sent His Son. Jesus is the True Wisdom of God. He is the Chief Cornerstone. J.I. Packer writes in Knowing God, "Wisdom is the power to see, and the inclination to choose, the best and highest goal, together with the surest means of attaining it." Jesus is that goal, and He is the means. If you build your life on Him, your house will not collapse. We must surrender our own flimsy wisdom and trade it for the unshakeable truth of Christ.

Prayer:

Lord Jesus, my own wisdom has failed me. I recognise that without You, my life lacks a solid foundation. You are the Chief Cornerstone upon which I must build. I dedicate myself anew to aligning my life with Your guidance and truth today. May my decisions and actions be rooted in Your unwavering support. In Jesus' name, Amen.
