The Battle Belongs to the Lord

2 Chronicles 20:15 (NLT) - "Do not be afraid! Don’t be discouraged by this mighty army, for the battle is not yours, but God’s."

We ended our service with a powerful moment of worship, declaring that the battle belongs to God. If your family feels like a kingdom under attack today, you have a choice. You can let the chaos steal the promise, or you can take that promise to the feet of the King.

Do not leave your quiet time today carrying a battle that doesn't belong to you. A.W. Tozer reminds us in The Pursuit of God, "God is looking for people through whom He can do the impossible. What a pity that we plan only the things that we can do by ourselves." When we fight on our knees, with our hands lifted high, we shift the burden from our frail shoulders to His omnipotent arms. Lay every fear at His feet today, step into the tension, secure the promise, and declare that the victory is already won.

Heavenly Father, the battle truly belongs to You. I openly surrender every fear and anxiety I have about my family, along with all the heavy burdens weighing on my heart, at Your feet. I have full confidence in Your power to secure the victory. I trust in Your divine strength and goodness. In Jesus' name, I pray. Amen.
