Day 7: Families with Hearts Turned Home
God’s plan to bless the world began with one family. On the last day of our fast we pray for marriages, parents, children and every kind of home, and for hearts to be turned back to each other.
Day 6: The Arts, Gifted by the Spirit
The first person in the Bible said to be filled with God’s Spirit was an artist. On Day 6 we pray for music, film, sport and the arts, and for creative people who use their gifts for God.
Day 5: Business and the Faithful Steward
In a time of famine, God had a man ready. On Day 5 we pray for jobs, businesses and the economy, and ask God to raise up faithful stewards like Joseph in the world of work.
Day 4: Leaders for Such a Time as This
Paul urges us to pray for everyone in authority. On Day 4 we pray for those who govern us in a time of crisis, and we learn from Esther what it means to serve for such a time as this.
Day 3: Schools and Students Taught by the Lord
What we learn shapes who we become. On Day 3, Palm Sunday, we pray for pupils, students, teachers and parents, and for a generation that is taught by the Lord.
Day 2: Good News in the Media
What we watch, read and scroll through shapes how we think. On Day 2 we pray for truth in the media, for Christians who work in it and for good news to be heard above the noise.
Day 1: The Church on the Mountain of the Lord
We begin with the church and the spiritual life of our nation. On Day 1 we see what draws people to God, why a closed building does not close the church, and we pray for unity and revival.
