Welcome to All Nations Community Church!
Pastor Mike unpacks the truth of who we were before Christ, who we are now, and who we are meant to be. Drawing from Ephesians 2, 2 Corinthians 5, Mark 16, and other key scriptures, he reminds us that we are God’s masterpiece, created for good works and filled with the Holy Spirit to continue the works of Jesus. With practical teaching on healing and the laying on of hands, this message is a bold call to believers to move beyond prayer alone and take action in faith.
What this means for you
Ephesians 2 tells our story in three parts. Once we were dead in our sins. But God, rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ. Now we are His masterpiece, created to do good works that He prepared for us.
Who you were is not who you are. 2 Corinthians 5:17 says, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: the old has gone, the new is here. Do not let the enemy keep reminding you of your old life. God has given you a new name and a new future.
And who you are meant to be is someone who carries on the work of Jesus. In Mark 16, Jesus said believers will lay hands on the sick and they will get well. Prayer is not only for pastors. If you belong to Jesus, you can pray for people and trust God to move.
