I Won’t Bow to Pressure
Pressure is unavoidable, but bowing is optional. In this powerful message, Pastor Ras reminds us that no matter what life throws our way, we can stand firm through faith, choose joy under fire, and find refuge in the presence of Jesus.
This week, we continued our Victory Mindset series with a message titled “I Won’t Bow to Pressure.” Life can be full of challenges, financial, emotional, relational, or spiritual, but as believers, we don’t have to be crushed by them. Pressure is unavoidable, but bowing to it is optional.
Psalm 84 reminds us that even in the “Valley of Weeping,” God turns our trials into springs of blessing. Like Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, we can stand tall in the fire knowing Jesus stands with us. Like Paul and Silas, we can lift our praise even in chains and watch heaven move on our behalf.
When you refuse to bow to fear, anxiety, or the weight of the world, you make room for God’s presence and power to fill your life. Be encouraged: your melody can become your miracle.
Say it with me: “I won’t bow to pressure, I bow to Jesus!”

I’m Done With Defeat
Too many believers are living like prisoners when Christ has already won the battle. The enemy wages war in our minds with fear, shame, comparison, and negative scripts that say we will never change. Using Romans 8:35–37, we are reminded that in Christ we are not fighting for victory, we are standing in victory.
This message helps us to recognise the “two coaches” speaking into our thoughts, the Holy Spirit who leads us into truth and freedom, and the enemy who lies, accuses, and pushes us toward defeat. Pastor Ras shows that defeat does not begin with our circumstances; it begins with what we agree with in our minds. As we choose to declare our God-given identity, disarm every lie with the Word, and decide to move forward in faith, we step into the freedom Jesus has already purchased for us. This is not just a phrase, it is a decision: I’m done with defeat.
