The Way We Come Into Blessings

Good morning, Men of Honour! As we welcome another blessed day, let's remember that receiving God’s blessings isn’t as simple as waiting for Santa Claus to drop gifts by the fireplace. Unlike fairy tales, blessings from God don't just fall into our laps.
Our spiritual journey is akin to a form of warfare, not fought with physical weapons but against the spiritual adversaries that challenge our souls. This battle is very real and requires our active participation.
It's easy to become complacent in our spiritual lives, mistaking physical or mental activity for spiritual engagement. However, true blessings are fought for and won in the spirit realm before they manifest in our lives. We must desire these blessings deeply enough to earnestly fight for them through prayer and praise.
While I've seen many embrace this challenge with open hearts, it’s often more difficult for men to express their spiritual battles through praise and worship. However, the power of God’s Spirit is undeniable, and engaging with this power can transform our lives. Remember, the act of humbling ourselves and engaging in true worship is essential to overcoming spiritual obstacles and claiming the blessings we seek.
Let us be prepared to fight spiritually for what we desire, embracing the challenges of faith with the courage and commitment they require.
Let us pray:
Heavenly Father, empower us today to actively engage in the spiritual warfare necessary to claim Your blessings. Help us to put aside any reluctance and pride, and to fully embrace the power of praise and worship. May we be strong in spirit and steadfast in our faith, fighting for the blessings You have promised us. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
