Being One with God

31 But those who trust in the Lord will find new strength. They will soar high on wings like eagles. They will run and not grow weary. They will walk and not faint.
— Isaiah 40:31 (NLT)

Today’s verse is a promise of renewed strength and endurance for those who put their trust in God.

It uses the imagery of an eagle, a powerful and majestic bird that can soar at great heights without becoming tired.

I really believe God chose to compare us to eagles in order to  motivate us so we can rise to our potential in life and so He can encourage us to wait on Him.

Today  I want to remind us that when we put our trust in God, we will be able to persevere through difficult times and accomplish great things, without becoming weary or fainting.

 Pray:

Heavenly Father, we come to You now in faith, earnestly desiring to grow closer to You. Quicken our spirit, and open our heart to Your teaching. Fill us with Your power and love that we may pursue our dreams with courage and dedication. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
