Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.
— Galatians 6:9 (NIV)

Life can be tough. We all face challenges, struggles, and setbacks that can make us feel discouraged and overwhelmed. Whether it’s a personal hardship, career setback, or spiritual crisis, it can be easy to lose sight of our faith and question whether God is really on our side. But take heart, my friends, for the Bible tells us that God is always with us, cheering us on and encouraging us in our journey.

The message of Galatians 6:9 is a powerful reminder that no matter what we’re going through, we should not become weary in doing good. When we face adversity, it can be tempting to give up, to lose hope, and to stop doing the things that bring us joy and fulfilment. But the Bible tells us that if we persevere, if we keep doing good, we will reap a harvest of blessings at the proper time.

What does it mean to “reap a harvest” in our lives? For some, it may mean a career breakthrough, a financial blessing, or a personal accomplishment. For others, it may mean a spiritual awakening, a deepening of faith, or a new sense of purpose. Whatever it may be, the message of Galatians 6:9 is clear: if we do not give up, if we keep doing good, we will experience a season of blessings in our lives.

But how do we hold onto our faith and persevere in the face of adversity? How do we keep doing good when everything around us seems to be falling apart? The answer lies in our relationship with God. When we trust in His goodness, His love, and His faithfulness, we can find the strength to keep going, to keep doing good, and to hold onto our hope for the future.

So if you’re feeling discouraged today, take heart in knowing that God is on your side. He sees your struggles, your efforts, and your persistence. He is cheering for you, encouraging you, and always ready to lift you up when you fall. Hold onto your faith, keep doing good, and trust in God’s timing. Your season of harvest is on the horizon.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, thank you for always being by our side, even when we face challenges and struggles in life. Give us the strength to continue doing good, even when it’s hard. Help us to remember that with you, we have everything we need to overcome any challenge. We trust in your goodness, your love, and your faithfulness, and we know that you are always with us, cheering us on and guiding us in our journey. In Jesus’ name we pray, Amen.
