Let Love Guide Your Steps Today
The verse for today is from 2 Corinthians 13:11 (NIV) 11 Finally, brothers and sisters, rejoice! Strive for full restoration, encourage one another, be of one mind, live in peace. And the God of love and peace will be with you.
When we read this verse, we see that love and peace go hand in hand. God is the God of love and peace. When we choose to let love guide our steps, we are allowing God to lead us towards peace.
In our daily lives, it can be easy to get caught up in the negativity and chaos of the world. It's easy to become frustrated, angry, and upset. However, when we choose to let love guide our thoughts and actions, we can shift our perspective and approach situations with a kind and compassionate heart.
God's love is all-encompassing. It extends to us, and it extends to those around us. When we let God's love guide our steps, we can be a light in the world, showing others the love and kindness that God has shown us.
As we strive for full restoration and encourage one another, we are spreading God's love and peace. It is not always easy, but it is always worth it. When we are of one mind and live in peace, we are living in harmony with God's will.
So, let us choose to love ourselves and others with an open heart. Let us strive for restoration in any broken relationships and encourage those around us. Let us live in peace and unity, always remembering that God's love and peace are with us.
In doing so, we are not only bringing glory to God, but we are also creating a better world for ourselves and those around us. Let us be the change we wish to see in the world.
Let us pray:
Heavenly Father, we thank you for your love and peace that surrounds us. Help us to let love guide our steps today and always. We pray that you would fill us with your love, so that we may be a light in the world, showing others the kindness and compassion that you have shown us. Help us to strive for restoration, encourage one another, and live in peace. We ask for your guidance and direction in all that we do. Amen.
May you be filled with His strength, His peace, and His joy today and always.
In Christ,
Pastor Ras
