Aligning for Blessings

Good morning, Men of Honour, and welcome to a new month! As we step into this fresh season together, this morning I want us to look at Genesis 2:4-5 (NKJV) This is the history of the heavens and the earth when they were created, in the day that the Lord God made the earth and the heavens, before any plant of the field was in the earth and before any herb of the field had grown. For the Lord God had not caused it to rain on the earth, and there was no man to till the ground.
Today's verse teaches us that God's timing requires us to be in the right place at the right time. Initially, God did not send rain because there was no man to cultivate the land. This tells me that God has reserved blessings for us, but they await our readiness to receive them. It’s not about a shortage of God’s blessings but our alignment with His will.
Today, let’s focus less on external circumstances. Instead, ask God where He wants you to be. What spiritual position does He desire for you? Align yourself with God’s will, and be prepared for a downpour of heavenly blessings that you won’t be able to contain!
Let us pray:
Heavenly Father, as we welcome this new month, help us to align our hearts and actions with Your divine plan. Teach us where we need to be to receive the blessings You have prepared for us. May we walk in Your ways and live as true Men of Honour under Your guidance. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
