Rise Up from Your Grave - A Devotional on John 11:44 Rasol Manouchehri Ardakani

Rise Up from Your Grave

The verse for today is from John 11:44 (NIV) The dead man came out, his hands and feet wrapped with strips of linen, and a cloth around his face. Jesus said to them, “Take off the grave clothes and let him go.

Do you feel like you are stuck in a grave of despair, doubt, or disappointment? I want to remind you that you serve a God who is in the business of resurrection.

Lazarus had been dead for four days, and his body was already starting to decompose. Yet, at the command of Jesus, he rose from the dead and walked out of his tomb. This is a powerful demonstration of the resurrection power of God.

In our lives, we may feel like we are in a hopeless situation. We may feel like we are trapped in a grave of despair, doubt, or disappointment. But just like Lazarus, we too can rise up from our grave. We too can experience the resurrection power of God.

We serve a God who is in the business of resurrection. He is able to bring new life to any situation. He is able to turn our mourning into dancing and our sorrow into joy. No matter how dead our situation may seem, God is able to breathe new life into it.

Sometimes, we may feel like our situation is too far gone. We may feel like we have reached the end of the road. But God is able to do the impossible. He is able to turn our situation around and bring about a miraculous change.

We just need to believe in the power of resurrection. We need to have faith that God is able to do what He has promised. We need to trust in His goodness and His faithfulness.

So, today, I encourage you to take off your grave clothes. Let go of the despair, doubt, and disappointment that have been weighing you down. Believe that God is able to turn your situation around. Believe that He has a plan and a purpose for your life, and that He is able to make all things work together for your good.

Let us pray:

Heavenly Father, we thank You for Your resurrection power. We thank You for Your ability to bring new life to any situation. We ask that You would help us to believe in Your power and Your goodness. We pray that You would breathe new life into the areas of our lives that feel dead and hopeless. We trust in Your plan and Your purpose for our lives. We ask that You would continue to work in us and through us, bringing about miraculous change and transformation. In Jesus' name we pray, Amen.

May you be filled with His strength, His peace, and His joy today and always.

In Christ,

Pastor Ras
